DECCAN CHALLENGE OPEN SCRABBLE TOURNAMENT 2008

The Scrabble Association of Hyderabad is happy to announce an ALL India Deccan Challenge Open Scrabble Tournament to be held at Hyderabad in November, 2008.

Dates:  22nd & 23rd of  November 2008 (Saturday & Sunday)
Venue:  iGATE Global Solutions Ltd., Road No.2, Banjara Hills, Behind Hyderabad Gymkhana,  Hyderabad 500 033.

Categories: TWO

1. Seniors :   Format: 14 rounds –First 9 rounds Australian Draw format 10^th round onwards King of the Hill format. (7 rounds per day) Prizes upto 6^th positions.

Entry Fee: Rs.900/- Per participant (Inclusive of Lunch, Tea/Coffee on both the days)

2. Juniors:  Format: 8 rounds  - First 5 rounds Australian Draw Format 6^th round onwards King of the Hill format. (4 rounds per day) Prizes upto 6^th positions & certificate of participation will be awarded to all the players.

Entry Fee: Rs.500/- Per participant (Inclusive of Lunch, Tea/Coffee on both the days)

Kindly Note:

 • Last date of registration: 15th November,2008. Late registration will attract an extra fee of Rs. 100/-
• Participants are requested to bring their own scrabble board, tiles & clock.
